i mean, you couldve used an actual filipino-black actress or someone who looked like it, rather than completely black-facing an extremely pale filipino actress.

cmon philippines. i know that this show is meant to promote sort of ‘just bc ur dark doesnt mean ur ugly!!’ kind of theme (because frankly speaking, i’m quite dark skinned and most filipino people find me unattractive, while most people of other races think i look quite lovely :D), but hey isn’t blackfacing kind of.. rude? idek.
